With over 25 years of experience at Valmetal, David's work across various departments has given him a 360-degree understanding of the company and its operations. His inclusive leadership and management expertise have been instrumental in building a high-performing sales team, further solidifying the Valmetal brand. He has also played a pivotal role in the company's significant expansion through strategic acquisitions and the unification of Valmetal’s various brands.

Beyond his role at Valmetal, David leverages his expertise and governance skills to contribute to the community. He served for 7 years on the Board of Directors of the Ste-Croix/Hériot Foundation, including two years as President.

As Chief Financial Officer, Dominic Vallières oversees the financial ecosystem at Valmetal Group, ensuring data integrity, optimizing the performance of IT and information systems, and fostering talent engagement—all in alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

With nearly 30 years of experience in various areas of administration and financial management within the Group, Dominic has played a key role in integrating the numerous acquisitions completed over the years. This includes both negotiating deals and successfully incorporating new divisions across Canada and the United States. He is a highly dedicated and personable individual who has surrounded himself with strong leaders in finance, IT, and HR to drive the organization forward, ensure its sustainability, and improve its performance.

Dominic holds a Bachelor’s degree in management accounting from UQAM and the CMA professional certification (now CPA).

As Chief Operating Officer of the Valmetal Group, Éric Vallières is responsible for mobilizing, leading, and orchestrating operations, R&D, and procurement. With 30 years of experience within the group, he plays a key role in managing and optimizing operational processes to support the company’s growth and performance.

Éric has held various management positions throughout his career. He served as Production Director at Valmetal for two years before taking on the role of General Manager at Silo Supérieur for 10 years and later General Manager at Valmetal Saint-François for 18 years. His leadership journey includes implementing innovative solutions and managing multidisciplinary teams with efficiency.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval, Éric combines his technical expertise and management skills to successfully oversee the Valmetal Group's operations and projects, all while staying focused on long-term goals and customer needs.

Yvon Vallières is the Founder and President of the Valmetal Group, and a cornerstone of its success. With 56 years of experience as a businessman, manufacturer, and employer, he ensures the company operates smoothly and remains profitable, while actively shaping its future through strategic decision-making.

Over the decades, Yvon has been instrumental in building a solid foundation for the company, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023. Valmetal continues to uphold the core values it was built on: innovation, quality, and commitment. Yvon's expertise spans a wide range of areas, from sales and marketing to human resources, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and machining. This broad skillset has made him a versatile leader, adept at navigating challenges and seizing opportunities.

With his exceptional experience and knowledge, Yvon remains a driving force behind Valmetal’s success and growth, constantly fueled by his vision and unwavering dedication to the company.

Anick Bernard has held the strategic role of Vice President of Human Resources and Culture at Valmetal Group since July 2024. Her main goal is to position human resources as a key performance driver across the company's Canadian and American divisions, while fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace. She collaborates closely with teams and their leaders to implement innovative programs that enhance employee engagement, enrich the candidate experience, and strengthen the company culture.

Anick brings a clear vision and insightful leadership, along with over 25 years of experience across a wide range of environments—including international corporations, Quebec SMEs, and large Canadian organizations. Her proactive, people-first approach enables her to tackle organizational challenges with agility while aligning teams around common objectives.

Anick holds a degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Quebec in Montreal and is a member of the Quebec Order of Certified Human Resources Advisors (CRHA). She strongly believes that “the role of a leader is to create an environment where everyone can shine.” Her commitment to people and her ability to bring out the best in talent are key drivers of performance and culture at Valmetal.

Caroline Forcier is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Valmetal Group, putting her nearly 20 years of marketing experience to good use. Since joining the company, she has quickly advanced through the ranks, taking on several key strategic roles.

With strong management skills and a clear strategic vision, Caroline excels at transforming ambitious ideas into actionable, effective plans. Her expertise drives the team to embrace innovative approaches that prioritize growth and excellence.

As Valmetal's IT Director, Patrick Provencher is responsible for defining and executing the company's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with its business objectives. He oversees the IT teams and manages technology projects, infrastructures, and information systems to drive efficiency, security, and innovation across the organization.

Patrick has 20 years of experience in IT and has held various strategic roles throughout his career. His expertise is particularly noted for his ability to enhance processes by implementing and optimizing technology solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Patrick has been with Valmetal for over 3 years. He holds a certificate in network cybersecurity from Polytechnique Montréal, a certificate in administration from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières, and a college diploma in management information systems from Collège de l'Estrie.

As Financial Director of Valmetal Group, Nathalie Raymond plays a key role in driving the organization's strategic objectives and spearheading continuous improvement projects. With a solid financial background, she oversees Valmetal's financial operations, managing budgets, optimizing financial processes, and providing insightful analyses that inform strategic decision-making—each of which is vital to the company’s growth and financial success.

Nathalie holds a bachelor's degree in accounting sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal and is a member of the Ordre des CPA du Québec. She has built extensive expertise in various sectors, with a particular focus on manufacturing. Before joining Valmetal, she spent over 30 years at an accounting firm, where she served as Senior Director, As a business advisor, she has distinguished herself by her rigor, her sound advice and her interpersonal relationships.

Throughout her career, she has been involved in various causes within her community. Notably, she served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Partance, a Women's Employment Center, from 2016 to 2018.

With over 8 years of experience in research and development, Pierre-Olivier Roy leads R&D projects at Valmetal Group. His main responsibility is to develop effective and sustainable technical solutions aligned with customer needs and market trends. Under his leadership, his team transforms ideas into tangible projects, overseeing their development from concept through to product launch.

A 2016 graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, Pierre-Olivier has a deep passion for mechanical design and integrating cutting-edge technologies into complex systems, especially within the agricultural sector. As a member of the Quebec Ordre of Engineers (OIQ), he has been applying his expertise at Valmetal since the start of his career.
