Operations
- Supervise the department’s operations by prioritizing projects and optimizing your team’s skills
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and risks using our product development process, while providing the necessary support to the stakeholders involved
- Supervise and improve the integration of new products or prototypes into production
- Supervise and improve the improvement process of existing products
- Propose initiatives to improve department operations
- Standardize procedures and communicate them effectively
- Participate in the conception and design of prototypes
- Participate in the monthly analysis of warranty claims, technical support requests, and requests for new products or product improvements
- Facilitate communication between the engineering team, operations, and internal and external stakeholders on engineering-related matters
- Support management in implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure an optimal team with the right mix of skills to carry out the Engineering Department’s missions
Human Resources
- Improve and support the integration and training of new employees
- Participate in the hiring and termination process
- Evaluate employee performance
