Duties and responsibilities


  • Supervise the department’s operations by prioritizing projects and optimizing your team’s skills 
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and risks using our product development process, while providing the necessary support to the stakeholders involved 
  • Supervise and improve the integration of new products or prototypes into production 
  • Supervise and improve the improvement process of existing products 
  • Propose initiatives to improve department operations 
  • Standardize procedures and communicate them effectively 
  • Participate in the conception and design of prototypes 
  • Participate in the monthly analysis of warranty claims, technical support requests, and requests for new products or product improvements 
  • Facilitate communication between the engineering team, operations, and internal and external stakeholders on engineering-related matters 
  • Support management in implementing continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Ensure an optimal team with the right mix of skills to carry out the Engineering Department’s missions

  • Improve and support the integration and training of new employees

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
