- Participate in the implementation of our perpetual inventory project.
- Establish standard costs across all our business entities and ensure ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on product costs, profit margins, and financial performance for management.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and inventory management teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Participate in developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate annual physical inventory counts and cycle counts with the controllers.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or potential risks.
- Actively participate in month-end inventory closing activities, budgeting, and planning reports.

Duties and responsibilities
Your profile
- Strong ability to structure, analyze, and interpret data in an operational and decision-making context.
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools such as Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to communicate with colleagues in our U.S. divisions (40–60% of communications).
- Availability to travel regularly between our Saint-Germain-de-Grantham and Saint-François-Xavier-de-Brompton facilities, with occasional travel to our other locations.
Qualifications
- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
