- Provide technical support to customers for Valmetal feeding product lines.
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external technical support requests.
- Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and ensure effective follow-up.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Service, and Quality teams to resolve customer issues.
- Contribute to the validation and continuous improvement of products, documentation, and processes.
- Analyze recurring issues and use KPIs and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare or contribute to procedures, service bulletins, manuals, and training materials.
- Provide training on products and equipment, particularly to Sales and Service teams.
- Participate in customer visits when troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, or prototype validation is required.
- Collaborate with other Technical Support Agents to effectively manage priorities and ensure excellent service coverage.

Duties and responsibilities
Your profile
- Ability to explain technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer tools.
- Valid driver’s license and passport, with availability to travel as needed.
- Functional French and English skills to collaborate with our English-speaking customers and divisions. English is typically used between 20% and 70% of the time.
Qualifications
- Diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in electromechanics or college diploma (DEC) in electrical engineering, or any other relevant training.
What would be an asset:
- Experience with a CRM, support ticketing system, or ERP (Dynamics 365, Zendesk, Infor CloudSuite Industrial).
- Knowledge of mechanics, manufacturing, engineering, or design.
- Experience with agricultural equipment or in a related industry.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
