Receiving
- Coordinate incoming shipments with the purchasing department
- Unload trucks using material handling equipment
- Collect and validate carrier documentation
- Verify that received goods match purchase orders
- Perform visual inspections of products
- Move goods to the appropriate locations (physically and in the system)
- Maintain good relationships with carriers and dealers
- Ensure proper inventory rotation
Shipping
- Load trucks according to established procedures
- Prepare orders based on priorities and ensure accuracy
- Produce bills of lading
- Handle equipment in the yard
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
