- Develop and implement safe work methods that ensure efficient production of quality products;
- Optimize manufacturing workflows to reduce production costs and lead times;
- Participate in design reviews for new products and ensure they are manufacturable;
- Verify that the Bill of Materials (BOM) accurately reflects the manufacturing process and collaborate with the methods team to resolve discrepancies;
- Train affected employees when introducing new products or manufacturing processes;
- Conduct shop floor observations and time studies;
- Foster effective communication with the production team;
- Assist in the design of tooling, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing aids;
- Work closely with the Quality team to ensure quality control requirements are integrated into production processes;

Duties and responsibilities
Your profile
- Experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and perform well under pressure;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks) is an asset;
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T);
- Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes, particularly sheet metal, bar and tube fabrication, welding, and assembly;
- Team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Technical diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Good understanding of mechanical principles.
