General
- Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant's strategic priorities and objectives;
- Lead the plant in alignment with the company’s direction and values, while ensuring close monitoring of the achievement of operational objectives by work teams;
- Oversee operations with a focus on productivity, quality, and optimizing employee talent;
- Act as a change agent by establishing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within a collaborative environment during a context of transition;
- Propose initiatives aimed at optimizing performance, quality, and health & safety;
- Manage the implementation of best practice improvements and ensure that changes are well integrated into the company;
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness, and manage expenses responsibly to ensure the plant's financial health;
- Lead the maintenance department with a focus on continuous improvement, equipment availability, and failure prevention;
- Participate in the Labor Relations Committee (LRC);
- Collaborate on prevention activities and health & safety (H&S) initiatives, and monitor the results of the H&S committee;
- Maintain a work environment centered on teamwork.
Human Resources Management
- Contribute to the recruitment process and employee journey according to the plant’s needs and requirements;
- Manage the scheduling of work shifts and vacations according to established practices;
- Identify and track employee training needs (legal compliance, skills development, and internal mobility);
- Demonstrate leadership within the team;
- Responsible for team training.
