- Establish production priorities in collaboration with the Panning team, the Production Manager and the Production Assistant
- Coordinate production activities
- Monitor ongoing tasks and activities to meet established production priorities
- Propose recommendations to improve work methods
- Maintain a real-time knowledge of materials in inventory and order missing materials
- Give team members the necessary tools and support to grow in their role
- Communicate with the Maintenance team regarding machine maintenance
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Enforce workplace health and safety rules and best practices
- Facilitate shift transitions
- Assess labour needs based on production volume and priorities
- Approve time worked as well as leaves/absences/vacations by the required deadline
- Manage the performance of team members
- Maintain harmonious work relationships
- Provide team members with continuous and constructive feedback
- Help support the activities of other departments
