- Coordinate activities related to the introduction of new products (NPI) and product improvements;
- Delegate and follow up on tasks with various project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule;
- Analyze projects to optimize manufacturing processes in order to minimize production costs and lead times;
- Identify and assess the impact of changes on costs, timelines, quality, production capacity, and inventory;
- Ensure the design and structure of the BOM (Bill of Materials) accurately reflect production needs and reality;
- Plan and lead project follow-up meetings with stakeholders (production, R&D, quality, procurement, etc.);
- Participate in training employees when new products or processes are introduced;
- Manage obsolescence of parts and/or tooling as needed;
- Promote communication and collaboration between R&D, manufacturing engineering, and production;
- Conduct project post-mortems to highlight successes and identify improvement opportunities;
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure quality control requirements are integrated into production processes;
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the department and the plant by proposing ideas to supervisors or colleagues.
