- Coordinate the introduction into production of new products (PDP) and product improvements (PI).
- Delegate and monitor the tasks of the various project stakeholders to ensure that the project runs smoothly and on schedule:
- Inventory management ;
- New tooling management;
- Procurement ;
- Recipe creation and modification;
- Quality management;
- Quality documentation (drawings, instructions, inspection forms, etc.);
- Pre-production ;
- First production ;
- Analyze projects in order to optimize the manufacturing path of parts with the aim of minimizing costs and production times;
- Identify and evaluate the impact of changes on costs, lead times, quality, production capacity and inventories;
- Ensure that the design and structure of the BOM accurately reflect production needs and realities;
- Plan and lead project follow-up meetings with stakeholders (production, R&D, quality, procurement, etc.);
- Participate in the training of relevant employees when a new product or process is introduced;
- Manage the obsolescence of parts and/or tooling if necessary;
- Promote communication and collaboration between R&D, production engineering and production;
- Carry out project post-mortems to highlight successes or raise opportunities for improvement;
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure that quality control requirements are integrated into production processes;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the factory by proposing ideas to the supervisor or colleagues.
