- Act as the operational link between production teams and production engineering;
- Be the first point of contact for all technical questions, problems and issues encountered in production, in order to minimize interruptions and coordinate corrective actions;
- Support production in drafting clear and complete change requests;
- Analyze change requests, identify the root causes of the problem and offer solutions to prevent recurrence;
- Manage production improvement projects with the aim of manufacturing components as efficiently as possible;
- Delegate and coordinate certain improvement project tasks to the team of draftsmen, technical writers, toolmakers and methods technicians;
- Train and sensitize operators and supervisors to good technical practices in order to reduce errors and production stoppages;
- Work closely with the quality team to manage technical non-conformities and implement corrective actions;
- Participate in the testing and validation of new methods, tooling or equipment before their implementation in production;
- Act as technical expert (SME) during production design reviews with R&D;
- Coordinate the testing and commissioning of new production machinery and technologies, with the aim of establishing and documenting best practices so that all stakeholders using this equipment do so within established standards;
- Support the workshop team in creating and maintaining the tooling required for the manufacture of parts, mechanized welds and assemblies;
- Support the technical writer in creating work instructions for production machines and for the assembly and welding of more complex products;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical support processes, proposing new ways to optimize support responsiveness and efficiency.
